35 yrs old non smoker non drinker(now)decided to get fit again in july2008 after17 years of abusing my body. used to do lots of running and cycling but had 4 heart opperations when i was 20 then found the pub and cigs,now doing both again and loving it lost 2 and a half stone and feeling great . thought it would be hard getting back in to it but was quite supprised how easy it was once u put your mind to it. my first run was 1.5 miles non stop and i was ok .just been out for first run of 2009 been injured over xmas with acilies heel, was doing 6 miles in 53 mins non stop hopefully will get back up again as just ran 4 miles in 33 mins but had a breather half way !
