The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?
Returned to running after a 20+ year lay off, have been regularly circuit training for the last 12 years, but got the itch to go running again after my brother in law did a marathon recently - I did Glasgow marathon in 1986 (3.43) but seem to have slowed up a lot since then, now running at about 9 min pace, but trying to get faster. Bought my self a Garmin 305 and love it (didn't think I'd be able to see the 405), it certainly inspires me to go out. Trying for sub 2 hours at Liverpool 1/2 Marathon at end of March, hopefully should be within my capabilities!
