The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Well done Nathalie, well done going under 2 hours and close to a pb!

thanks Geoff - I was very happy with this - I stopped and helped a gentleman in mile 12 who was wobbling all over the road and stayed with him until the medics arrived and took over, so think I may have sneaked a PB - can't believe I ran every other mile well under 9 minutes and 2 miles at 8:15 !

You were well on course for a pb, it was very giving of you to sacrifice your pb to help a runner in distress, he could have collapsed without your help. You will have to enter another half marathon soon and dip under 1hr 55min!!
