Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

SAL 3000m on the track at Cambridge. Actually had pretty good conditions at the track for a change and felt pretty good for the first 5 laps and was spot on for sub 10, but struggled on the last couple of labs. Just don't have the endurance in the racing at the moment, need to do some more longer runs I think. 8th out of 9 runners and my slowest ever 3000m :-(

Split Summary

====

1) - 1m - 5:09(5:09/m) - 90cal

2) - 0.95m - 4:57(5:11/m) - 88cal

(Garmin was well out with the distance, pace was actually 5:25)

Pretty close to your PB. Interesting your comment about the endurance, I have the same issue with holding pace with the running - even after all the miles on the bike for us both - strange that....
brotherjohn
I think we need to run more Chris, it's too easy to go out on the bike!
DrBob
isn't that a mile PB, followed by another nearly mile PB?
brotherjohn
I wish Bob, but the Garmin was way off with the distance on the track, avearge pace was acctualy only 5:25 :-( 3000m is 1.86 miles not 1.95 I had on the Garmin.
DrBob
oh yes, so it is! :-(
