My first Parkrun! Went with my 9 year old for moral support and bless him, it was further than he thought! Walked with him lots of the second lap. Next time will be faster and everyone was lovely.

My son finds it highly amusing that he can walk faster than I can run :-) Something competitive seems to have been ignited now though... want to get back next week and beat my time!
