The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.

Was always going to be a training run and something more if I felt good. Its local and worth a go I thought. It went well I ran with a 1.20 pacer (great guy now joing C&C, he has a PB of 74 mins and is getting faster, he should shake things up right at the top end of the club)
First 3 around the airfield I was expecting the wind to be hard but it was sheltered, so i thought great, could be on here and the pace was very comfortable!
Then it got windy for like 4 miles or so even when we turned away from the wind! So battled on, and tried to push in the hills.
I knew the last few miles would be tough but I was well chuffed to see sub 6's up for all, we needed them to get back on track for sub 1.20.
Pleased as I had more to give could hve gone a little harder at the start but that will do for now!

Well done Alan, nice to see you going so well. You got to be in pretty good shape to go sub 1:20 without doing any long runs. A good strong finish too!

Cheers guys, yeah I felt good, I thought the legs would be going at around 10-11 but appears they were happy with those extra few. Will have a couple of easy days now starting with a swim today!
