Nene Valley 5k, first attempt at 5k! Having initially thought i would merely come along, see everyone and spectate, Got talked into running it. Interesting. Didn't quite know what to expect, then felt like the tortoise at the start as all rabbits ran off. Secretly happy with this as was more keen on getting back to more mileage. Then looked at Garmin to see I had become part rabbit! Not being used to running without oxygen I settled into a more reasonable feeling pace. Liked the course but could have done without the wind! Very happy with eventual time. Congrats to all WJ, massive turn out as ever and some superb times out there.

I could see you coming back but I ran out of course - robbed me of my 10 points!! You should have spectated this one and run the next!!LOL!! Very well done, great debut and you'll bring that time down over the season
dingdong*
Great first run at this distance and coming back after injury, well done.

great to see you back again and cracking time considering the lack of recent miles
