Notes & Comments

O.M.G. how ridiculously hot was that? started of ok had some trouble with bottlenecking the first 3 or so miles but then it opened up a bit, first 12 or so miles went ok, then the heat of that sun started to take its toll!
when i finished i was a bit dissapointed with my time, i was lookin for closer to 3.30! but having sat down at home i'm quite happy with sub 4 considering the conditions. hope everyone else had a good race :)
oh and i still got a pb! half hour faster than last year. hopefully my next marathon will be less than 25 degrees!

forgot to mention, saw rhona at the start, looking every bit the professional distance runner she is!, then barry at around 16 going the other way at speed. then colin and mark not too far behind him looking strong. tough day for running but still some strong performances from the club. :)
