Considering how I felt yesterday/this morning, my resting HR and general negative thoughts I was really pleased with the result. Only 27 seconds away from my target pace (5:16m/m for target marathon pace in April) , trouble was if i was just 16 seconds quicker it would have been £100 and a new course record. That damn hill at the end!!
HR data also suggests I wasn't trying hard enough after the hill at mile 6 although I was slightly concerned with my very tight right hamstring which was causing me a certain amount of pain.
