Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

Stamford - Am very pleased with this! Was only a month ago I struggled round a mere 13M on Cannock Chase (which took me much longer than this did) and here I am running 18.65 undulating miles only missing a p.b by 2mins and my second best time for this course :-). Felt strong until the 20km mark and kept it going until 25km really but had walked the steepest parts of the undulations since about 17km. Did then find the last 5km hard going, as I knew I would due to being well out of comfort zone. Got through it though and got chatting with a bloke called Matt which helped us both keep going as best as possible. Was amazed when he told me we were 2:31 and there was only 2/3km left!?!?! Wish I'd have known then what my p.b was for this as I may have been motivated to give it more welly in the last bit but never mind, I still did what I could with the stitch that was getting on my nerves. Found it hard doing the lap of the field to the finish but was well chuffed to cross the line 2:42 when I was going to be more than happy with sub 3:00. Well done me!!
