Notes & Comments

Walk to MRT and to start point, again keeping the map of the trip but I’ve amended the stats above.

Well for a nice walk to the Peak along clear path friends omitted the vertical climb. We managed to take the wrong trail and I was pretty close to being bitten by a snake which I disturbed 😬 and we wasted 2m and about 40-45min…. Therefore Part B was a write off asntime was getting on due to the sheer climb and getting back down the slight technical section had me stressing and we had to go all the way back down rather than my understanding that we got there then continued along the hilltops to the other side. I was also gutted to not be able to manage to sit on the rock that looked like it was pointing into thin air I felt sick just trying to get on the rock. Otherwise enjoyed it - never to be repeated. And we must remember HK walks are vertical 🤣

Totals amended to remove taxi ride which was mapped so I knew where we’d travelled.

Me too when we looked the snake up when we got back it’s highly toxic but docile unless threatened which I suppose when someone nearly stands on you it was threatened!
