Auldcathie parkrun. First time visit. NENDY NEarest Not Done Yet. As ever, met a few folk. Paul A from Kinross, on his 401st! And Scott M from old work, on 456! Stared mid pack, very narrow start, so slow, picked it up a bit when I could get past people. Saw Scott ahead so moved forward to chat to him. Then he and I went forward and caught Paul. We had a wee train for first loop, but Paul said to go on. Scott and I did, then Scott said he had a PB in mind so I said to stop chatting then and moved forward. Got moving a bit then. On last climb fell in step with a guy who said to go ahead, but I though we still had half mile to go, but he said no, it's now where we started, and it was really only 500 m, so pushed on then too. Fun to finish quicker than starting! 11th, seemed strange but I guess just not a quick one. Calf felt fine and even next day still OK. Weird! :-) G
