Yes indeed. The Brynamman parkrun is not the quickest course in the area, but it is the nearest to us at 2.4 miles away. I'm hoping to shorten my time on 5K before advancing age gets the upper hand!
2.4 miles...(sigh)... Before the Groe started up (7 miles away) my nearest was Newtown (30 miles away).
Perhaps your running club could look into the possibility of getting one started up in your area. Is there a suitable park or riverside path etc.? Our club were instrumental in getting one started in Neath.
Nothing suitable in Llandrindod. "Round the lake" no good because most of it is a road. Rhayader might be possible (it's the Rhayader running club that I belong to) but for me it's at least as far away as Builth.
