Kings Forest 50k. Wasn't necessarily 'racing' this, but wanted something to avoid the autumn slump. Not sure that really happened as I don't think I've run longer than 15 since July...

Was quite pleased how this went. Worked quite hard for the first to laps, started to flag a bit in the third, and definitely in the 4th (where some cramp bit me in the quad).

Lovely friendly event, well signed route, and very pretty in the forest. Did not find the laps too bad - long enough for there to be some "ooh, I don't remember this bit" on each.

Now updated with official time.

Food log:
End of lap 1: Handful of peanuts, cup of orange squash
End of lap 2: cocktail sausage, cheese straw, half scone with jam, cup of lemon squash
End of lap 3: Two chocolate fingers and a jaffa cake. Cup of blackcurrant squash.

	Rosehip Like the sound of this one especially the scone and jam. Nice run.
