Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Notes & Comments

Summer Solstice 10k

Lovely evening for a run, very warm. Great attendance, a very well organised friendly race.

Started off faster than I thought we were going to go but Caroline was keen on getting a PB. Me and Bill ran with her. Felt comfortable at this pace and HH had advised me to take it steady after Wednesday. The heat took its toll on Caroline at about 4 miles and we started to slow. Could see she wasn't happy and didn't want the encouragement so helped another chap in instead. Thoroughly enjoyed this run, lovely undulating route on a lovely evening, nice and sociable after as well, will go back again next year :-)

Glad you enjoyed it. It's a super event - worth the drive on a Friday night :-)
hurricanehamlyn
Well done, a steady run in good company :-) Maybe you should go for "quackers" as your nick name rather than toilet duck!!
Old Man
