Notes & Comments

London Marathon - all those weeks of training finally paid of to completing my first marathon :) Not the time I was hoping but considering the heat and picking up an injury after slipping on a bottle between mile 16 and 17 I am proud and happy I completed it. Garmin battery died just before the finish but it was clocking the miles way before the markers on the route. I also had an app on phone running and that clocked over 27, knew I should have followed the blue line ;)
Overall though despite the obstacles I thoroughly enjoyed it and already thinking about my next marathon :) big big thanks to all the support we have had over the past few months from the club and family, wouldn't have done it without you all :)
