Zurich New Years Marathon

Foxy What better way to start the New Year than with a marathon, the race started at a school / leisure centre at Schliren in the suburbs of Zurich at the stroke of New year - runners at the front & spectators celebrated with sparklers. I met 2 Irish lads on the start line & ran with them for a few miles before upping the pace. there weren't many KM markers so was tough to judge how far we had gone,I asked the distance to go at the last drinks station & knew i had to push it to go sub 4, with 200 yards to go I was told
