About this parkrun
The usual route is two laps, with a mixture of tarmac and grass. It starts on the prom, so is flat and fast to start, then there's a hill and you head back West on grass. Down the hill and do the whole again - it has never been one of my quickest.TheOtherMan 28th May 2019
Nice run, start along the prom, loop rounds at the top (hard dirt path) then back along the prom. Mostly very flat although there is one hill. Nice views across the sea.

Two different routes. The standard two laps as described or if it’s muddy the ‘lollipop’ route. Starts in the same place, straight along the prom, onto nature reserve where you run on mud/footpaths for a loop. Back on the prom. Finishes up the hill.

A 2 lap course when we did it starting on the prom by the sea, flat tarmac then a short steep hill and on to grass back to the finish area. A bit congested at the start, but OK. On street parking nearby and the cafe at the Marine Hotel was good.
