No.8 ™ PB by just short of a minute and got the club v35 record. Brutal weather made it a hard race and the wind was a killer. Kept out of trouble, slipstreaming most of the race, got caught home alone in the headwind at 4 miles though.

Good to see SluggyB racing once again, the old boy has still got it, Dangerous Kev on the comeback trail, saw Abou briefly at the start, BigEvilC before and after, MGB running a stormer on his first race and Angela29 getting a PB.

Great race and in better weather would be super quick.

PhilPub Not such a bad time, considering I nearly gave up on the whole idea when I looked out of my bedroom window! Didn't realise this race had such a reputation but will certainly be back for more.

youlooktired didn't realise how far my house was from victoria park...7 miles in fact...maybe not the best prep for the race. really windy and even a bit of hail made it really hard. Have ended up running 19 miles today with the round trip... good training for april 13th!

abdou First visit to Vicky Park - great to have a running clubhouse on the corner! Nice flat course too, but negated today by howling wind and freezing sleet. Which means I could go sub-30 on a nice day, right?

BigEvilC chilly, wet, windy, haily and a bit knackered from FLM training but still managed to PB but not very impressively. Great to meet MGB (nervous newbie but did great) and No 8 (esteemed fetchie) today. Unfortunately I couldn't find a fast mammoth to hide me from the wind. 1 day to 3 week taper and needing it!
