CumbriAndy Lovely route - well up to the standard we've come to expect of the VO2 Max events. Plenty of everything - stoney tracks, paths across heathery moorland, great views, plenty of mud but maybe just a little too much road linking it all together for a 'perfect course' (not that there's anything the organisers can do to avoid it)? Course measurement was also up to the standard we've come to expect - extra 2k over advertised distance is surely just better value for money? Great to catch up with some long established friends and to meet some new ones. And, for the first time in fifteen 'Lakeland Trail Races', I came away witha spot prize!!

Running Beard Just what we have come to expect from the VO2 team. Great people, great course, great veune and of course longer than advertised! Top event this is a must do for next year, but so is any event that these guys run.
