Beautiful lake setting.

Lovely lake and forest setting. Quite a challenge with the hills, but the 2nd lap of the lake is good for catching that time.

Around the lake, around the park (a little undulating) and then around the lake again. There is a live road which is well marshalled and the hill just before halfway certainly gets your attention. Lovely setting, lovely people, 500 runners, worth it

Misty New Years morning

Very wet on the day I went, but largely on path. A bit of on-road running. Parking is £1.20 until 10am. Need to go back on a dryer day as looks very picturesque.
