themookid Perfect conditions tonight. Decided to leave the watch at home and just race without worrying about split times for once. Went off quickly with my group of 3 but couldnt live with the initial pace as we passed the group who started 20 seconds ahead of us within a few minutes. Eased a little out to 3k and felt able to push it up a notch at the turn point and through 4k. The last ½k was a real struggle but kept it on well I think. No idea of the time at the finish but was confident I had run well. Very pleased with 18:40 - 2 seconds away from a pb after easing back during training cant be bad.
