themookid A good effort managing to equal my 5k pb. Cant help but be a little disapointed not to go under 19 but first 5k of the summer and the remains of cold hanging about on my chest so there should be more to come! Went off quick over the 1st km (3:36 - oops) so came off a bit but over compensated (km's 2-3 8:02). Wind was pretty tough going out but felt good at the turn around and pushed me home (km's 4-5 7:42). Need to even the km times out next time (3:45 ish each for a sub 19) and not get too carried away early on. 6 or 7 finished around 19:20 so should be going off with a bigger group next time including PC and PM (I ran quicker than both btw!!) so that should make for a better race.
