Konaboy Phew! That was a shocker. A relentless 700ft climb in the 1st 2miles meant most were shattered 7miles before the end. That is the hardest 9miles of XC that I have ever run (walked!). Beatiful scenery helped with coping with the pain though. Although not as commercial as the Grim or Hellrunner, it was a gem of the race which was well complimented with the good organisation, copious amounts of beer at the end & of course the great weather. Definately do it again next year. Highly recommended.
