Lisrun Cloudy and much cooler than yesterday with a slight westerly wind which made parts of the course harder. The fast course was one lap on wide footpaths and cycleways along the banks of the River Tees. Largely flat with rises to go over the bridges and a couple of minor undulations. Race was full (400) and some people who.wanted to register on the day were disappointed. Very pleased with my time considering yesterday. Tee-shirt and deoderant and anti-wrinkle cream to all finishers !

philbo Very happy with this race well set out and marshelled , this was the 1st one of what is going to be an annual event, nice course along the banks of the river tees, through the white water center of the tees barrage down into Stockton then back up to the barrage to finish , nice and flat apart from the small climbs over the bridge's nice goody bag at the finish & a PB to go with it , great day back next year for sure. updated time from website this morning 02/05/06 bit keen on the watch !!!!!!!!! :-) p.p.s race title should be DAVID LLOYD doh !
