Hills of Death (HOD) Not so Muddy ! Cold tho brrrrrrr came 58th not too bad and 6th lady :) Raced a youthful Harlow girl to the finish she beat me.
Barnet & District AC, Riverside Runners 		38:09 54.68
tramps 53 places lower than last week. Maybe the warm up was too long
Saffron Striders RC 		38:57 54.30
Vicksta Came 10th lady. Nice weather, cold with blue skies, and the course wasn't that muddy, which suited me. Had a good sprint finish, pipping a Ware Jogger to the line. Three minutes faster than last year (though last year was muddier)
Harlow RC 		40:48 42:15 40:25 57.52
Vindicator A very good race on a crisp December morning finishing 36th (35th) . I felt in control right up to the end, then things went a little sour for me. A runner went too early from behind on the sprint, but I reeled him in such that as we went to the line I dipped track style and am 99% sure I beat him. Unfortunately he went accross me and put his hand on my shoulder, pushing me the wrong side of the finishing funnel. I protested to the marshall on the line, who seemed to think I was lucky to be given 36th, not 40th or whatever the positions were now being given out as I had missed the funnel. I did shake hands with the guy, and I am sure I will get over it, but still... My actual time was probably 15-30 secs less than shown due to finish line altercation.
