RFJ 1st ever relay, in a team of 6 in the SM team, only 1 person is SM so age gp between 27 and 61... Back from the SEAA relays, great fun, met up and drove up, we had 7 runners for a team of 6, so one of them volunteer to drop out, this still left us with an age gap of 21 to 59 for a SM race, (the only way we could get a team out). So we decided on our team, 2 faster runners, 2 slower runners then 2 faster runners to bring us home.... well that worked NOT....... As I was the last and most lonelist runner out there..... I had the privildge of the last leg and was by the time we got there 5 mins 30 down before I toed the line...., aim was 24:30 but secretly wanted sub 4 min Ks over he 6k (5994m), pushed out the first lap in 11:51 and the second in 11:47, so a neg split and a time of 23:38 and second fastest leg for the club, overall time 2:31:35 for the 6 legs.
