bedlam_g 3 laps of a good traditional x-country course with its sharp turns, steep climbs and a decent strength wind blowing in from the sea. I ran really well for the first two laps, tired a little in the third, rather shocked as I crossed the finish line to discover I was just a measly 13 seconds outside my 10k PB. I’d have been really pleased with a sub 40. My Garmin measured the course at bang on 10k so things are looking good.

ChrisU Finished 19th overall, and 9th Over 40 in 35:34. My Garmin gave a distance of 9.85km. Got a stitch on Lap 2 and lost contention with the 4 runners in front. Only just clung on with the 3rd lap to avoid getting caught by anyone else.

hannkies Not a bad race, if anything didn't push myself hard enough the first couple of laps though. That said I seem to be in okay shape for this time of the year so I won't be too hard on myself. Very well organised event. 35th position.

Sunbed Athlete Got 9th place which got me the 4th team placing that counted towards the Gold Medal that Ronhill Cambuslang picked up quite convincingly. We had 6 guys inside the Top 12.Ran the 1st lap far too fast which i paid for in the 2nd & 3rd laps. Was lucky in the end to hold onto the 4th counting place.Me thinks another 250 yrds & i would have been in trouble.
Was 5th Vet35.Not bad for my debut run in the Masters. Can add the Gold Team Medal to the British Team Gold Relay XC Medal i won @ Bathgate last year with Cambuslang.
