real glasgow big fun run

shannon A bit of a strange race but great fun. This is why: 1) I cycled 7 miles to get there so was not sure how the legs/head would be and the plan was also to cycle back 2) I had my club vest on and felt a bit of a plank as it was a proper fun run for charity fund raising with cjharity t-shirts/fancy dress etc 3) A section of the race cut right over a Bella park field so that bit was quite soggy. Turned out my legs and head were just fine and I enjoyed my run round quite a hilly/twisty course on ground well familiar - this was where I used to do alot of my early days running; it is a great big park with fab paths and splendid views at the top. I was a tad peeved not to go sub 25 but I did pass one dude in the excellent run-in on the Bella cycle track but some chap did beat me over the last 1k - full respect as I could not hold onto his tail and he must of passed about four runners on the track.
