Gobi no idea about course or pace. A fun run :¬) Sat in a group of 5 for the first 3kms but thought the pace was a bit soft so kicked up a hill and broke the field. One guy came with me and then pulled away from me. I sat about 10 metres back for a km or 2 and then pulled alongside at about 6kms and was surprised to see him starting to struggle. I kicked past on the up hills and headed home. Cruised the last km through the trees. 1st place NICE

Rach E No predictions. A new race and mostly offroad so please don't bet. ***UPDATE*** Raced tactically to finish first lady and was pleased to sit back in a race and enjoy it (as much as I could!!). Sat behind first woman for first 3k then overtook and ran side-by-side with a Headington guy until 5k. Decided to kick up the hill and lost him and was on my own until the end. Nice finish in Tilsley Park stadium where Gobi and I had lots of photos taken and were interviewed for the local rag. A nice local trail race with its fair share of stiles, road crossings and difficult terrain.
