april_runner By positioning myself up at the front for the start I managed to actually RUN and even slash nearly a whole minute off my PB. Bedford Harriers organised the course and I have to say it was great, and accurate too (I used my Garmin, regardless of how it made me stick out!) although the clock they had on the finish wasn't right and said I'd run faster than I knew I had - using your own timer is definitely a must! Although I avoided the mass participation activities (like the warm-up), I have to say that there was a good atmosphere, and the messages on people's backs were very moving. The course was lovely and flat, it was just too warm (28 degrees, ouch!) for brilliant performances today.
