Laura27 My first 5k race! Was fantastic, managed to start at the front, have a quick start and kept up the pace...was aiming for 25mins at best and was very pleased with result, considering I'm not quite over my cold yet. Cannot quite remember the splits 100% accurately but it was definitely 4:57 for first, then 5:23 for second, was at the 3k mark around 15:30 and then 4k at around 19:30 and then finished 25:20. Hard work but very worth it - a great course too.

Treacle Managed to start right on the front row, and went out really fast - first mile was 8 min miling! Slowed a little as pace started to tell, but very pleased with big PB by 1 min 30! Clock on course showed 26 mins 49....but that was out for all of us, so have taken watch time. Shame it wasn't sub 28, but that is now the next target:-)
