About this parkrun
Out and back on the beach - great if the wind is in the right direction! ALL on sand, if the tide is not long out then it's a great surface to run on. Suitable for all, though buggies etc may bog down in the sand.28th Dec 2018
Straight out and back, all on sand along the beach. Pace is very tide dependent. Hard work if the sand is dry, but receding tide leaves it pretty firm. Indoor facility to shelter from the Atlantic before and after....

Fully on the beach, out and back. Spectacular. Hard going, especially at high tide.

Exhilarating parkrun, good for the soul. Fully out and back on sand and be prepared to change your shoes or better still run barefooted. Going is hard and hardest when high tide. Tea and coffee indoors after.
