Lisrun A cold and cloudy morning. Ran in my new gloves after the last race. Race started at the racecourse at Newcastle. Two laps of course that passed the finish four times before the actual finish - not as frustrating as it sounds. Almost flat course apart from a couple of dips and then up the other side. Very, very pleased with the time which was almost 3 minutes faster then my previous 6m run at Jarrow in the summer. First mile was 7.08 which was bit frightening. Slowed slightly in the second half. Excellent sandwiches and cakes afterwards.
