bedlam_g 7.7 miles made up of 5 miles of tough road hill climbs then almost 3 miles of rough track descent. Beat most of last years splits by about 20 seconds broke away from a good pack alongside Border Harrier Michael Scott who then built a 30 second gap on me with a sub 5 3rd mile which remained his lead until mile 7 when a missing marshal had him heading the wrong way until I stopped and called him back to give him the win. Very pleased with my run 2mins 30 secs quicker than last year and worked a really good runner harder than he expected, 1st would have been even nicer.
