Dave_K Great race. A fantastic PB. Managed to run at a steady pace throughout. Really good day. As always an excellent event. Loads of support from marshalls and spectators. Well done to Supervixen on a new pb and a special well done to Pink princess and beansy who ran their 1st half marathon. Great running everyone !!

Enigma The race started in the grounds of Gordonstoun School. The sun was shining and there was a slight breeze. The start of the race was on grass and the route was marked to miss the boggy parts - a good touch. Onto the tarmac and the run out of the school, the first mile was quick and I was feeling good. Onto the main road and the pace was good, my mile splits are a bit erratic slow fast slow fast, but I seemed to be steady compared to those directly ahead of mea nd those slightly further ahead. Musthave been the conditions. Anyway, felt good along the main road into Lossiemouth. Turned the corner to climb the slight hill out of the town and that was when the headwind started. 1 mile later and the wind was still there, only to be joined by a stitch that remained with me for 5 miles. I couldn't beat the wind and the stitch so the splits started to suffer. In the end I finished 1 measley second outside my PB. It was all looking so much better at the half way mark. Ho hum. 2 more halfs in my clendar, Queens in NYC which is a big unknown, and then the Aviemore Highland Half in October which I ran last year. I know that without the wind or stitch I could have been much faster. Sorry to all the Fetch betters out there.
The race itself was very well organised with more water stations than I've ever seen before. Certainly a race to run again in the future.

Gcad Good race great course windy and exposed in places, cant believe how I couldn't dig deeper in the last 3 miles. 1hr 30 is a realistic target.

Supervixen Given recent speed work, hope to PB here as ran the course last year. Always well organised and hopefully sunshine, a nice weekend out. Update: watch time, really enjoyed the race, good conditions and friendly marshalls, well done Moray.
