JulesR First year event and they had a downpour in the aerobic soaking just before the start. Most good runners were off in Vale of Leven, so it wasn't too crowded up front. Fast course despite the sharp hill at 8k. Took it quite easy all the way round until someone hit me with a huge sprint in the run-in (why do they do that?). Took him back, but still got placed 2 places behind him in the results. We did smash his team in a tennis match a few weeks' before. Well done Glasgow on a great new event.
