JEJ Jogged around with Mr Marders, wearing silly hats and waving flags. Managed to avoid getting mugged by kids (they really wanted the flags), only to have the maids insist we handed over our hats on return to the hotel room.

Dickie York Didn't feel quite my best on the day, breakfast OJ didn't sit too well at all in my stomach )-; Really started to feel it in my quads at around 30-35Km, pace just drifted off then. As it was a small field I was on my own from just before 35Km when I lost the 3 guys in front, could have kept a better pace with mor people to chase. Not bad at all really for the start of the season, hope to see sub 3 again this year. Course and marshalling good. Nothing like running a major European city marathon, more like a local race, so good fun overall. 103/510
