Garfield Good race though I haven't done much in the way of hill training. Lots of hills but nice race. Not as muddy as a friend of mine said...or perhaps I was just lucky on the day!

Pabs First ever race - awesome adrenaline. Pretty much ran perfect strategy for current form - kept rhythm uphill, smashed it downhill, maintained tidy form on tough ground too. Very loose, easy start after warmup. Good prep pre-race day - biiiig sleep 2 nights out, huuuuge eating all day before. Caffeine 15 minutes before start, date at start line.
