Lexo Didn't realise this was as hilly as it was, so reasonably happy with my time considering this and the (surprising) heat on course and also due to the remains of a rather extensive hangover from Friday night!!! Start was a bit chaotic, and I tried to pace myself a bit better than usual which i was glad off later on when I hit the hills at around the 7 KM mark and the Sun was at its strongest. The run along the loch side was very nice... Really pretty course and the crowds and martialling were great!! Particularly enjoyed running through the country house's gardens to be cheered on by a rather dapper lady and gentleman who seemed to be having a afternoon tea on their vernada !. Nice t shirt as well at the end which came in handy as a headscarf to keep the sun off.

SpicedApple Very hilly and hot indeed. Lovely stretch behind the loch though, friendly crowd and marshals, yummy Tunnock's Caramel Wafer and generally great setting for a day out.
