Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

bedlam_g Still getting over a chest infection, so I chose to run this race as an easier alternative to my clubs interval session. It was a nice wee race only £1 entry and a cup of soup for every runner. I’m quite pleased with my time as I held back, never pushing too hard the course also seemed pretty long (5.38m on my Garmin others had 5.4m) . I also arrived very late and couldn’t do a proper warm up.

Son of a Pronator Man A well orgainsed, small and friendly 2 lap course through the streets and parks of Lenzie. I hoped that my Fetch mile track speed could be repeated on the roads but a few hills saw me well behind that pace. It was good to see lots of young runners in for this and the 1 lap race on the same route.

Ticketyboo Enjoyable wee race run by my club which I only decided to run after the old firm postponement. Felt reasonably strong throughout despite 3rd race in 8 days and ran at quite an even pace. (Finishing Position 9 out of 112)

ian9657 New race and distance for me, so guaranteed a PB :-). UPDATE, time a bit slower than predicted but as I said didn't know the course and didn't want to push myself prior to the championship race at the w/e. Bottle neck start but once I jostled myself into position, quite an enjoyable race. Round the same loop twice so knew what to expect, couple of wee hills near the 1/2 way point/end helped to let me know that my legs were tired. Worth the £1 entry fee to get a new PB. Chatted with a couple from Spain (in Spanish) after the race.
