connelld 1st open road race I've ran from my former club. Slightly disappointed with time as I did most my training in this area for years. Well organised and lots of marshalls. Great Goody bag too.

hannkies Not brilliant time wise, wind tough but same for everyone so no massive excuses. Positives were it's the first race chalked off since the marathon, and also I'd hope to better this soon, so not drastically concerned ( yet ). Massive positives are this was a great race and brilliantly organised so huge thumbs up and for a fiver this is possibly the best value race in the calander. Finished 8th of 208.

Sunbed Athlete Well organisied and most importantly well marshalled as with the race going through the Doonfoot areas of Ayr it was twisty & a few turns too so every possibly point was marshalled.Big thumbs up to them for that. Wind was a bugger but happy with 2nd place.Was closing in on 1st but run of of time as David Millar was struggling with calf injury from 5k but maintained enough to keep hold of 1st place. Decent goody-bag,prize money,course all for just £5.Wish other races were like this!!!!!!!!!!
