Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

gilly b Oh dear, even worse than Troon - much worse! After 1.5k slow climb into head wind I decided I couldn't be bothered making the effort and stopped! I then decided to go for a walk in the countryside, eventually starting to jog again and continued along the route. The last 4k I speeded up and felt great - in future I know what's called for, a 6k warm up of walking & jogging! All in all I enjoyed it and will do it again - I may even run it next time!

Sunbed Athlete Tough head wind for the 1st 3k.Group of 5 runners with me @ front.Felt i was pushing hard just to get away from them but @ times with no evail.
Eventually did around 5-6k mark then was on my own in 3rd but lad in 4th was hot on my heels which made me work for my placing.Took 3rd place(£10) & took Team prize also(£10).
Like the race.thats 4 years in a row ive ran it & always been succesful in some way.Numbers were slightly down on last year but maybe that was due to the fact that most folk wanted to stay @ home & see the huns getting PUMPED..................hee hee hee
