Grey Badger Hilly race on mostly track and a little fell section which is very steep. Last year was out and back course.

Good race with Peter he passed me on first uphill section and tracked him most of way round and got past him on the last downhill section. 1m 12sec faster than last year so quite pleased.

jolguk I can't remember a race I was looking forward to less than this one. It rained all the night before, was still raining when we arrived, I had my period and we had the prospect of massive hills and tons of mud. In the event, apart from the nightmarish hill in the middle, and the bad one at the end, it was pretty enjoyable. Fab scenery, as expected, and the trails were actually as firm as described. It had a really exhilarating downhill finish as well. Obviously a really slow time for a 10k, but was happy with it.

Jenson First ever off-road race. Had stinking cold and seriously debated whether to do it. Glad I did though.
Despite damp conditions and a bit of a fright at the gradient of the hills (sometimes walking is the only way), enjoyed breaking my 'racing duck'.
