Marmite This was a fabulous event in spite of my race not going very well,a virus for two weeks prior to te race was not good training. The race itself was tough, the up hills brutal but more than made up for by the views of Derwent water once the highest point had been achieved. As a family we will go to this event again especially as my daughter has discovered technically challenging racing is enjoyable, a mountain goat is how her father described her after accompanying her on the 25k, her longest race to date. My eldest daughter loved the dry stone walling she was able to do.
