Ally2 wet and wild evening on a twisty, undulating grass and track course. Lovely. Had a barnstorming run, up with leading pack of 4 til 3k, then winner raced off, kept just behind Phil C and dropped the 4th place man. Kept that order to the end but so close to 2nd if only... 3rd overall. 1k: 3:30 (seems long!) 2K 9:40, 3k 10:07, 4k 13:32, 5k 16:43

Lethargic Stiff from Tuesday 10k,startd slowly as planned but too slow, first k in 3.41, the leading group miles away. Then had a lonely run into the wind towards the lake, finished well, but could not make up for the time lost earlier. Hard 5k, good climbs, and change of terrain, this race makes the flatter races feel easy! Bad tactics, lesson learnt, dropped from 2nd in the series to 3rd!

ninemins The hills the hills the rain, the wet grass, the craters in the grass start area - what have runners ever done to upset the moles, the potholes in the path - apart from those a great run and very close so quick travel. Had wanted under 23 minitues but it was not to be. Still a PB so looking forward to a dry flat wind less course!

rollerman A wet evening. That was really better put more effort in and chased a few club members and got a course best by 3 seconds, not a lot but the way I have been running that a big improvment.

Super Kev Wet, windy, hilly & wicked. I ran as well as I could, but off the pace at the moment.A little disappointed with the time. See how we get on at the next one.
