SPKoF Well my legs held out from the 10 miler at the weekend so that final PB has fallen. Luckily I got dragged around by a fellow club member who shouted at me when I whinged that it hurt too much.

As always, the Heritage series was well marshalled and organised and as always, any race around Holme Peirpont is awful. At least it was only 1 lap around a man-made concrete pond this time.

The weather even cooled down a bit for me.

Vickyy It was really hot and I went too fast the first half of the race - pushing myself as if i had never been injury and hadn't lost any race fitness and then the second half of the race paid - really struggled and just got slower and slower. My ankle was fine during the rest which is a plus but I need to work at getting my general race fitness back up - at least this series has given me the opportunity to do that and by the end of this week should have run about 30 miles which I haven't done for probably 5 weeks!

Two Towels. Heavy quads still from last weeks fell race plus Barrow 10.
Was very hot again for an evening run nearly 4 mins slower than last year not running well at the moment.

Broccers Really enjoyed this race. Really well organised. Just wish I could get under 53 mins!
Agree with everyone else with the Barrow 10 in the legs I had very heavy ones towards the end
