muimhneach Fell run that takes in Captain Cooks Monument, Hanging stone and Roseberry Topping. Approx 1,400ft of climb. Starts with an uphill slog to captain Cooks Monument and finishes with a steep descent down stone steps to car park. Quite treacherous in the wet. Climb up and descent of Roseberry topping are always hard work as is the climb away from Roseberry topping to gate. Distance is more like 8 miles
