dood Wet as usual, but pleasantly warm. Started quite slow this time and took the course steady. Lots more hills in the middle that I remembered and quite muddy / slippy in the 'bottom field'. Don't forget the hill had to back off at the end for fear of passing out - and I only had 1 beer the night before, must be taking this marathon training seriously.....

OxfordTristan First race back after 6 months out with injury so really unsure of the outcome. Seeing it as preperation before a bigger race in 2 weeks. This was a very very hard race, extremely hilly, with winning times two minutes down on last year due to the amount of mud in the off-road par of the race. So although i would have been annoyed with 35 minutes before the race, due to the bad conditions i guess 35 is OK. Has given me more confidence ahead of the big 10K in Oxford in 2 weeks.
