justcol From start to mile 2 the climb just keeps getting steeper(hands on knees stuff), route along the top is not obvious so it is a straight line between markers through the tussocks of grass. Descent is very fast down a rocky track, I took the slightly more stable center grass line or verges where possible. Leave the track about 1 1/2 miles to go on to a short road section then on to trail again, this soon comes to a junction l/r or straight ahead? I went straight ahead! WRONG! doubled back then caught right route. Follow the fence line on grass then surprise a final wee gradient kick to get your heart going again, followed by a v steep grass downhill. Through the woods and into the field and finish :-) Overall it was a well marshaled, well marked course and a great route.
